The short version

Thudball makes your videos inside your own browser. We ask for one thing, your email address, so you can have an account. We do not receive your pictures or your videos, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your account

• To open the studio you create an account with your email address and a password. The password is stored only as a scrambled value that cannot be read back, not even by us.
• We keep your email address, the date the account was created, your plan (free or Pro) and whether you asked for emails with offers and news.
• Emails with offers and news are sent only if you ticked that box. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• Accounts are stored with Supabase, a database company that works on our behalf. A sign-in token is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in; Sign out removes it.
• To delete your account and the data above, write to the contact address below.

What stays on your device

• Pictures you add to a ball. They are read by your browser and never sent to us.
• Videos you export. They are created on your device and saved by you.
• Saved setups. They are kept in your browser's local storage until you clear it.

What our hosting provider records

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard technical logs for a limited time, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We use them only to keep the site running and secure.

Fonts and scripts

All fonts and scripts are served from this site. The home page contacts no third party. The studio contacts our account provider (Supabase) to sign you in and to read your plan.

Payments

Paid plans are not on sale yet. When they are, payment will be handled by a payment company that acts as the seller. They will receive your payment details. We will not see your card number.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
